Glad to see T-RAT is alive and well. You all have helped me keep my 99 Legend going strong past 100,000 miles. Picked up a 2010 T-Bird 1700 a few years back and have put 25k trouble-free miles on her. Haven't done much to her maintenance-wise except oil, tires and cleaning the air filter once in a while. She just started throwing the PO-414 code for shorted SAI valve which I'll be sorting out soon. I'm thinking about removing the whole secondary air injection system and I'm coming up to speed on TuneECU. I use OBDLink and their cable for most automotive trouble-shooting but it appears I need a different one to work with TuneECU. Anyway, I'll be checking out existing posts instead of bothering folks straight off - but the welcome center requested a post - so here it is! Any tips on SAI removal and TuneECU for a 2010 1700 are welcome and appreciated.

Best to all - Hagrid

Welcome to the forum!

Do you still have your 1999 legend? I love the classic triple line! I have seen some beautiful custom Legends, nicely done as café racers. If ever one was to present itself I think I would have to jump on it. And I still lust after the Thunderbird Sport.

I am sure you know your way around the site, but in a show of hospitality, here are a few links for you.

Thanks for the hospitality links and yes indeed, I still have the Legend. She was retired as my daily commuter at 100k miles but she's still going strong and ridden regularly by my son Mike. Thanks again, Hagrid
