Well I finally broke down and bought an intercom system. I've been looking for the last 6 months and was almost set on the Autocom or Starcom models, I then discovered the intaride systems www.wirelessbiker.com . they seem to be rated on par with the Autocom and Starcom systems the only exception is the intarides use very robust plugs instead of the flimsy din plugs, the major complaint I've heard about both the autocom and starcom systems is that the plugs are the weak point. anyways when I get the system and mount it up I'll take some pics and do a review. :-D

Cool!

Look forward to the review.

In regards to flemsy plugs...Autocom uses 4 & 5 DIN plugs. They are the same plugs used by musicians. They are not flimsy at all. In fact, I thought they were a bit over robust. But I'd rather error on the side of strength.

No I had read some posts on some other forums that the pins on the DIN plugs on either the Starcom or Autocom systems could be problematic the only thing that anyone complains about with either of these systems is the connections everything else is fantastic but I've read reviews where if anything does go wrong it'll be the connectors as thats where they are plugged and unplugged just my opinion from researching!! http://www.bikersoracle.com/gs/forum/showthread.php?t=114
