You really have to shop when it comes to bike insurance. While living in St Loo State Farm was always the cheapest, for me, by far. Here in CA they were more than double, and Progressive was only marginally more than State Farm in St Loo. Go figure.............

If you change to another carrier be sure to find out how much of a refund of the unused premium you'll get back. If you cancel in a relatively short period of time the proration is likely to be quite high and you'll need to factor that into your decision. If you'll save $300 annually but only get $1000 back you're better off to wait until renewal.
