It pays to check with an independent insurance agent who can check multiple carriers for you.
On my 07, Progressive (my previous insurer) wanted $750/year. I thought that was nuts. The dealer recommended an agent to me, and I'm now with American Modern for $299/year.
I had heard Rider/GMAC was so great, but after way too long of a phone interview, they quoted me over $900.
