$1500 does seem high- you might check with your local Ridercoach or bike shop for an agent who also rides. I've had quotes on the net that were quite a bit higher than anything I could get through a local agent. I had Dairyland for years and now Modern Home- $235/year for everything on my 05. They consider it a nine month policy here even if I ride year round.
