The best insurance I found was from Progressive. Just under $1000 a year.
My licence says SAFE DRIVER and I have only been given 2 (two) tickets in my life. The last one over 2 years ago.
I already have my Tiger, so I went with Progressive, but I plan to keep shoping for insurance. My guess is it will be no problem to go from Progressive to a company with a better price. Has any of you done this before?
I don't understand why my quote is so high in comparison here.
I am 42 y/o, "Safe Driver", and always on top of my game.
Don't know where the risk factor is coming from.
Maybe it is a Florida thing or a Miami thing. My Allstate agent (that I have been with for 5+ years) told my Allstate is having a lot of problems with bikes. Actually, after I gave her the VIN number of the bike, the $1500 a year went to $1500 for just 6 moths. Nice way to tell you they are not interest.
I'll keep doing my homework. For now, I'll ride and ride...
Worst case, I go with a different company next year.
SuperStock, good info. I'll take note.
