Insurance for my 2006 is around $200/year with Foremost. It's a policy for AARP members, plus a discount for taking the MSF rider safety course. Sometimes it pays to be old. I forget exactly what the AARP membership costs; but I know it is really cheap. It has saved me several times its cost in bike insurance every year.
Be sure your insurance carrier classifies your Tiger as a touring or dual-purpose bike. Those rates are much lower than sport bike coverage.
