Okay, let's say you're semi considering a new/different bike. Not necessarily your "dream" bike but a new/used bike you've seen that you'd like to add to the garage. What is it?
Me, I've been eyeballing these:

1) 07 Triumph Tiger. I've never owned a new bike but this bike has me interested. Upright riding, good power...able to munch miles.

2) This eBay Ducati-02 ST4s...in the town next to me. Two things will slow me down. I ain't got 8k to be letting go of at once and I don't know zip about Ducati.

3) this eBay Ducati-03 Multistrada. In the same way I like the 07 Tiger, this thing looks like a blast.

4) 01 ZRX1200r Kawa- if this were priced cheaper, I might buy it.

I'd like a Honda XRV750 Africa Twin. And a 900 Thruxton. Instead, I got myself an amalgam of the two in the form of a Honda VT500FT Ascot :) :-D

I really like the ZRX, but I cannot act sensibly with bikes like that. The Ducatis and Tiger does nothing for me, but the good thing is that there are so many different bikes, there is always something to suit everybody.

I like the new Tiger; to me it looks like an updated version of the original Sprint, with the half fairing. I don't know that I'd want a brand new one though.
The boss has been telling me that she doesn't like the passenger seat on the Sprint. She doesn't like the way it slopes forward. She says she feels like she's always pushing me towards the tank. And the seat on the new Tiger looks pretty much the same.
I'm thinking of picking up something like a Bonnie or Speedmaster as a second bike since I don't really want to get rid of the Sprint yet. Amazingly enough, she's OK with this idea.

I let my wife drive the Sprint, and now she has put her beautiful 02 Honda Sabre up for sale. I thought that she would take it around the block, and then get off of it.
Boy was I wrong. 135 miles later riding Houston's Freeway traffic she was ready to get off the Sprint. She is currently looking for a clean Sport Touring bike.

If any of you know someone looking for a mint condition Sabre in Texas, here is her link.
