So i just ordered the Ikon rear shocks and front springs w/ 15w oil. I wanted to know what you all think? for those of you who have this set up how are they? is it suitable for street and track?

Here's my opinion.
I had the Ikon 7614s and front springs. The 7614s took an enomormous amount of preload to reach the proper sag. Not sure why. The forks springs felt too stiff. I weigh 150 pounds, so this may have had something to with it.

If I were you, I would get shocks that could be sprung to my proper weight, such as Works or Ohlins (which I eventually bought.) Having the correct springs for your weight is the most important thing.

A lot of people look at the Ikon spring and assume that because it is progressive and longer than stock, it is better. This is not so. Every suspension tuner recommends straight rate springs because the air inside the fork is already progessive by nature. Again, the most important thing is that you get the correct springs for your weight. I got mine from Traxxion Dynamics and like them much better than the Ikons.
