As a Postscript, I got to thinking about what I`d done. As the stock horn is 3amps and the replacement is only 1.5amps, I decided to shell out another $4.99 and fit another one. Wired in series with 2 X 2 inch pieces of wire, 2 'scotchclocks' and two female spade connectors. There`s a screw on the back which alters the pitch and I`ve set one horn high and the other low to get that proper twin horn sound. The OEM horn bolts on to the bottom yolk with a bracket that has 2 screw holes, I just removed the bracket and bolted each of the horns to one of the holes using the small brackets they were supplied with. You have to be careful when positioning them, so that they don`t clip the fork protectors under braking. I`m delighted with the end result, extra loud twin horn note and the whole thing was under 10 bucks.
