As most of you know, I was hit by a car and my White 06 was totaled on Oct 4th. I will pick up my 07 Saturday!!

Congrats! I just bought one October 17th. A beautiful black '06 Speed Triple. It has been snowing like mad since then so I only have 150 miles on it. I love everything about it, especially the comments on how tough it looks.

I have noticed a few small things that are different...The exhaust joint behind the rear set is different and it has a cover on it. The heat plates on top of the slip-ons are polished SS now and the oil cooler is smaller. I'll report on the new ECU after I get a few miles on her...

Boy, what is it with the white ones getting hit by cars? You must have faired better physically than I did, it was 6 weeks before I was fit enough to get back on a bike.

I think it's close to the same color...looks hot in the sun. The only riding I'll be doing is from the dealer to home! I think I'll be able to keep my knee bent for a few miles.

When I was 15 a mate and I drank 2 x 40 oz bottles of scotch.
The next day I lay on the riverbank and upchucked that colour for hours. To this day, I can't drink scotch and I couldn't own that colour bike.

Hey, is that GREEN the same shade as the what they painted Tigers? It looks it to me.
Funny how when I showed a lot of people a picture of a Tiger that colour (I was gunna buy it 2nd hand) they all said "PUKE.... are you kidding?" But now the bad-a$$ speedie wears it.... its dapper!!!
I sorta like it, but only the same as I like the scrambler, novelty value. It couldn't ever be my first choice colour.

LOL, I know exactly what you mean, I did the same thing with gin when I was 16 and cant drink it 'tll this day.
