This is absolutely the most active and informative bike forum I've been on. No matter the question, there's someone with a good answer. I can say without reservation that this site has made owning my Bonneville a truly great experience.

I used to participate in a few car clubs/forums prior to getting my Thrux last fall and I immediately noticed how much nicer the Triumph forum was. I don't know if it's the demographic or what, but there seems to be much more respect, less drama, and wanting to help on these forums (most of the time). Rock on :upthumb:

Without doubt. The other triumph forums i know of are either not nearly active enough or are full of jerks. But not having owned a bike since the 80's, when i bought my speedmaster it became the 1st bike i ever owned during the internet era. And what a difference it makes ! W/O this forum i wouldn't have had the slightest clue about how to go about modding the bike and probably would have sold it by now for something with more power. By coming here i learned how to do it all in no time. Not to mention all the rest aside from modding for power. Anything you could ever want to know can be found here by asking or in the archives. And aside from one member who broke the record for times banned, i have seen very little here in the way of flaming and heated exchanges. No doubt this forum is the best of all the triumph forums and is a absolutly invaluable resource. It's like having a best friend who works in the worlds busiest triumph service center but 1000 times more informitive.

when I had my first bike in the 80's all I had for resources was I poor guy named Dale who was more than helpful with answers or connections for parts. I hope I didn't wear out my welcome then and I hope that that doesn't happen here with all the valuable insight and opinions this sight has to offer with all the folks here from all walks of life and all over the world. It is mind boggling that this could be possible if someone told you about this 15 years ago.

:gpst: Hard to add much to what has already been said--I've enjoyed this forum for almost 2 1/2 years now.

Me too. This is the first and only forum I've joined. I usually drop by a few times a day, and truly appreciate the folks who participate and all the wisdom they've shared with me. Thanks, everyone. :upthumb:

Sometimes there are the threads that wont die, but overall good as well for me. I do enjoy, and check in daily.

Dazco I never saw an end to your saga, so I am assuming you got your bike all back up and together??!!
