Hi!
I took several weeks but finally IT IS in my garage! Due to bad weather (snow, rain, low temp) only few miles made. I think I am gonna like it
I am rather tall (6,3ft) so I think I'll need a taller screen. Could You recommend me one?

I can tell you that the Triumph aftermarket screen is no good. It has that little lip on the top that is supposed to flip the air over you, but in my opinion all it does is make a lot more wind noise. I prefer the standard one, but I have heard good things about the zero gravity.

The zero gravity double bubbles are 'sposed to be good, but my advice is to ride it for three months before you do anything.

Adrenaline (and maybe testosterone) cost a lot of money!

I bought my '00 with a ZGDB on it, and never thought about it. When I bought my '03 new, I found I preferred the stocker.

I can't really say which would be better. Myself being 5'7" short I'm pretty happy with the stock shield. Alabamastan is a mandatory helmet state and I do not have any turbulence problems. I rode down to Tampa Florida over labor day weekend and was able to ride at speeds up to about 90mph with a ball cap with the bill pointed correctly(before the safety police strike, Yeah I know dangerous it is, I was around before the nanny state took over)

I would agree with the suggestion to give the stock one a fair go. I am knocking on 6ft 2in - and like the stock screen. Wind gets me right at neck level and I do not think that buffeting is an issue. If the airblast was any higher, I feel that buffeting would start.

Take care - BB

Congrats, Darek!

There are probably as many answers to your question as there are people to give them. That said, here's mine - I agree with Push0d and Black Beauty, give the stocker a go for awhile. My bike came with the Triumph touring screen already installed. I'm 6ft 2in and I found that when I would reach 70 - 80 mph (112 - 128 Kph, for you metric types), I would start to get a pretty good buffet right at helmet level. The stock screen was included as part of the deal when I bought the bike - I switched them out and found that I preferred the stocker. Yeah, there is wind in your face but it's clean.

Powodzenia!

I have to disagree with Trotsky - the Triumph Aero on the 05 Sprint is good for me. I'm 6ft 1in & I found the stock screen ok up to around 80/90 mph, but very noisy at any decent speed.

Since fitting the Aero the difference is noticeable at all speeds, but especially high speed and on motorways etc. I wish I had fitted it earlier.

The demo bike I tried had a double bubble, but I found it just diverted wind blast into my shoulders and made them ache fairly quickly on the motorway.

Body shape and height are definitely a factor in chosing a screen.

If you decide to check after market screens, make sure to check the german MRA screens.

They make quite a few different ones for the ST: Stock replica, double-bubble racing, touring with a lip and even a variable lip double touring screen.

I can attest to their build quality. Tinted models available also.

Also bear in mind that the '07 ST will have different screen requirements than the 05-06 ones due to diffrent bar and seat heights.

I am something of a screen junkie myself. I always end up with having a multitude of screen for each bike I own, replacing them often depending on season, intented ride, mood, pillion or solo etc.

I'm currently testing the MRA double bouble on my 06 ST and I also have acquired the Tr. Aero screen which I'm going to compare with the MRA.

And I'm sure that's not the end of it. I can see an MRA vario-tourer in my future....

Just sme clarifying info regarding the Triumph after-market screens.

There are now 2 models:

1. Aero screen A9708064. This is a screen somewhat longer and more curvy than the 05-06 model stock screen. It is provided as standard on the 07 models.

2. Flip-up Aero screen A9708089. This is an even longer screen with a curved flip-up lip. Reminiscent of the old ST touring screen.
