How would it look?

Hi Guys, I have the chance to buy this tank very cheaply, its brand new, what year is it please? also my bike is all black, would it look silly with black side panels and black fenders?

Looks like my pics gone? it was Red with silver Quarters towards the front,
Mods, are we not allowed pics on here?????????????????????????

From the paint style it looks to be an adventurer - currently unsure of the year.

Whether it would look silly or not is a matter of personal taste - I think it might not look that cohesive unless you have silver or red fenders.

If you have any plans to have this repainted to match your bike, you might want to call paint shops in your area to get a quote before you purchase the tank. I had checked on prices in my area at one time, and they were very expensive, so much so that I decided it was not practical.

No it would be criminal to repaint it as its perfect, be easier to have my own done as its all black.

picture?

can a moderator please tell us why the picture was removed? was it to save us from corruption? was it a rude picture? or did a jobsworth decree it was contrary to an unwritten Law?

cos for my part, I am beyond corruption, I enjoy Rude, and I dont like Laws, at least, not ones that serve no purpose..

I believe this is down to photobucket and not this site maybe music' moved it

DO check around with small body shops. I had my tank and fenders painted for $200 at one. I had them bead blasted first but that was not expensive either.
Also, if it is black, most shops are shooting black on something every week. Just see if they will shoot the tank along with it.

It's a lovely colour tank, but to be honest black is going to look better. Give it a shot.
