2003 T-Bird. Virtually bone stock. My horn started to blow the fuse. Even with the engine running it barely make a sound. I am looking for advice regarding something good & loud. I am planning on putting in a relay circuit and that part does not faze me.

What would you recommend. If I like it I was also planning on putting one on my Honda Pacific Coast.

I look forward to your suggestions,
Darien

The horn should have an adjustment screw on the back. Try tweaking it in either direction to get the best sound. That might fix the volume issue but not the blowing fuses.

First, check the voltage at the horn. If your ignition switch is fading, that could be your problem, and the horn is the canary in the coal mine...

Never mind. If it's blowing a fuse then it's a different problem. Does it blow the fuse when you press the button, or by itself? If by itself then the problem may not be the horn itself.
