Hi, my name is Jocky and I live in the north East of Scotland.
Just got myself a damaged repairable 2008 Speedmaster.
Looking to get torn into it this weekend and getting it on the road asap.

Welcome

Good choice.
Is it EFI or carburatored?
The guys here do a lot of modifications.
Mine is stock.
Triumph knows how to set up an engine.
Blocking off the AI is a good idea however.
The bike is set up a bit too lean.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Welcome. You're very close to my favorite part of your country, Dornoch!
Yes, it's beautiful up in Dornoch. Used to go to a bike rally there for many years. Unfortunately the location changed a couple of years ago.

The wife and I are getting ready to retire and I pushed to retire in Dornoch. However the extend darkness in winter and the cool summers caused her to nix that idea.

It's EFI and totally stock. For now.
I know all about lean from the factory. The Vics are the same.
