Hi scoobydoo,
welcome to Triumphrat one of the friendliest and most helpful Triumph sites you will ever find.

I know we some sandgropper here some where but I can't remember who.

I have 32,000kms on my 2004 955i Sprint and ride a lot hard two up and my wife and I love it.

Best all rounder bike I have ever had.

Who ever it is from WA will soon own up.

Keep us posted with your progress.

Welcome to the forum.

Great bike with a loyal following.

Make sure that you have a full face helmet. You'll be grinning so much that you will end up with heaps of bugs in your teeth otherwise!!

Jason,
I am new here too and just bought a Sprint less than a week ago. I have to agree I think it is the ducks guts! I have clocked up about 500kms already and my smile gets wider and wider.
How good is that exhaust note :-D
I have to agree with you it was the right decision to make.

Welcome to the RAT pack mate, good to see a fellow pohm as finally come over from the dark side.

Done 21,000 klm on my 04 Sprint half of which was two up. Two problems come to mind, the first my helmet gets a knocking sound when I'm in the groove and enjoying the twisties, the second more serious she is so comfortable on the back she tends to doze off, only realise when I touch the front brake to set up for next corner, helmets clash she wakes up with a jump which puts the bike out of shape makes the corners more interesting. For that reason I refuse to get a gel seat.

Get use to changing the rear suspension between one up and two up riding to get the best out of the Sprint.

Scooby mate! Welcome to the asylum were the inmates are running the show. The Sprint is a great bike with a shitload of character. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine. And don't take anything about being a Sandgrooper from that Kiwi banana bender (sorry Dave). Are you going to make a trip across to the east on the Sprint a day. I rode from Melbourne to Perth in 31 hrs once in the 80's, nearly killed me, put the bike on the train for the trip home, yeah, yeah, I know I'm a wuss. Anyway ride safe and enjoy the Sprint.
