This is a 2000 RS, you my be able to see oil pooling under the round port. I don't the name of the port, or its purpose, I suspect timing, valve adjustment, or chain tentioner setting. My main questions are these: how is it removed and resealed, what is it called, does the mill have a crankcase valve to let out pressure, whats that called. Anyone ever have oil leak from this port? is it likely the crankcase is over presurized and thus pushing the oil out? I have a POS manual that mentions none of this.

Hi Mitch,

I believe that what you have circled is the end of the balancer shaft, but I only have the 2002-4 manual so I cannoy say if/how you should deal with the leak
