Hi folks,

Any recommendation on a helmet lock / holder to install on a '16 T120?

Could be with or without keys, if the saddle lock acts as security.

(PS not sure that's the right term, I mean some kind of hook under or next to the seat where I can put my D-ring or strap helmet when I leave it on the bike).

I use this on my Speed Twin:

Just in case you’re not aware,
The bike has a hook for this purpose.
Some people find it difficult to fit their helmet, but I’ve never had a problem.

Thanks MotoChooch and Pudge, will have a look at those. Like the ajc one looks very discreet although would need another key I guess.
@in_stereo, thanks for the built-in tip, I've tried that one (wasn't sure what it was but thought it could be the hook), but my D-ring doesn't fit under, maybe I can lift it a couple of mm with pliers, and see if the saddle still closed properly. Will check!

I found it a pain because the built-in one is hidden by my throwover saddlebags.
I made up a length of aircraft cable with loops crimped into the ends that I can loop through the d-rings and the bike hook. Its long enough to do my wife's helmet as well.
I also made up a longer one that will go through the arms of my riding jacket if I want to leave it with the bike without it going missing.

Thanks for the tip, yes in fact with the bags it won't work. For those instances, I've in the bags also a steel cable with lock, long enough for two jackets and two helmets.

Without bags though I don't want to carry it always around with me and the helmet lock built-in works a charm.

We do have these loops under the seat. Any one know what they are for?

I didn't use cable that was that heavy. I used cable that was about the same suze as a throttle or clutch cable. I keep it coiled up under the seat. I also don't use a lock. I will either thread the cable through the d-rings and put both loops onto the hook, or I'll thread it through the d-rings, then thread 1 end of the cable through the loop on the other end and put 1 loop on the hook.

This is what I used on my 2017 it's actually a combination of 2 helmet locks I mounted it on the front fork so I could still use my saddle bags.
