I'm based in Wellington, New Zealand, and recently bought my black and white 2011 Bonneville T100.

The person who sold me the bike included a comfortable King and Queen touring seat, reverse cone megaphones, UK-flag gas cap, faux leather panniers with home made frames, Ventura luggage rack, Scottoil automatic chain lubricator, Ohlins rear suspension, and an ugly perspex screen about as big as my garage door. The intake snorkel and supplementary air injection had been removed by a previous owner.

I've removed the ugly screen, fitted the aftermarket megaphones exhaust (and adjustable slip-in baffles), refitted the original seat (less comfort but way better looking), put a pillion grab handle in place of the rack, fabricated and fitted a fly-screen that resembles a racing number board, relocated the ugly Scottoiler behind the right side cover, and put Shinko e705 tires on both ends to replace worn old Bridgestone rear and Metzeler front. A center stand is next on the mods list, given how useful they are for routine maintenance and cleaning.

This is not the biggest, fastest, best handling, or most comfortable bike I've owned but it is probably the heaviest. There's lots of steel where others would use plastic, fiberglass, alloy, or carbon. Nevertheless, it is a good fun bike that (so far) has reliably done everything I ask it to do. And it looks really good while doing it.

It is winter at this end of the world -- today was 4C, rain, and 100kmh wind (39F, 62mph) -- which limits opportunities to ride, but I'm planning plenty of road time when the weather improves.
