From what I have read on this form, the “whining” noise that our bikes make is caused because the primary gear in the transmission is straight cut.
I am not mechanic or engineer, but I know a lot of people on this form are, so my curiosity would like to know if it is possible to swap the straight cut primary gear with one that is helical cut gear?

When I first got this bike, I loved the sound of the triple growl combined with that whine; but now I just think that it kinda “interferes” with that triple snarl and wonder how it would sound without the whine...

Any thoughts?

That sounds like a lot of money! :D
I like the whine, it sounds like a supercharger.

I pretty much thought that it wouldn't be an easy thing to do, but my curiosity just begged me to find out what it would take; ya know, as an engineering learning experience.

I think you'll have to resign yourself to living with a racing gearset. Or reinvent the wheel. I also believe what you are mostly hearing is the top end.
