The sky is now that grim autumnal grey and a winter's biking is on the horizon. Anyone out there used a set of heated grips they would recommend?

Over the years I have fitted both to my TDMs (I have handguards as well) and had no problems with either.

For simplicity, I just wired mine in directly

Probably the most useful accessory to fit for the winter, but also beneficial in spring and autumn in allowing you to wear summer gloves for so much longer.

If you do wire direct to battery, remember to switch them off when parked!

You need to check the size of the bars as the only ones that will fit the Thruxton are Oxford at 1". They are expensive. circ £90.
I have R& G on my speed triple and they were £30.00 and work a treat. Wired them into the back light so no problems leaving them on when ignition is off.
