I'm reasembling a wreck and installing new handlebars - i've machined some inserts i've copied off of the twisted bars-
what i can't quite ascertain from the wreckage was how big the 'loop' of cable coming off of the heating element is at the bar ends as it comes off the end of the element and beck into the bar out the hole at the kill/start switch .
It's not necessarily an issue on the left bar - but on the right with the throttle and bar-end assembly i'm having a bit of difficulty getting the bar-end hardware tight enough that it wont fall off and still keep enough loose wire to avoid friction off the throttle so that it still turns.
Has anyone got insight to share on running the wire through here - pics . the information in the manual doesnt really go into alot of detail .
