Found out I can make heated clothing for a fraction of what it costs to buy them from Gerbings, widder, or any other off brand names. Soooo...I'm gettin ready to make my own heated gloves and socks. The only thing I am unable to locate is a good dual heat controller. I could buy Gerbings, but for $100 it is overpriced.

Anybody (electrical engineers) know where I might locate some type of water resistant/proof portable heat controller (potentiometer) that can be fastened to the belt?

Thanks in advance

I've made 4 coats so far. I sold 2 on ebay and gave one to a friend and I am using one. After making them I can't believe how much they get out of them, when the are so simple. I found this controller. It is pulse width modulation which means no heat sink. It is obviously for the do-it-yourself, but if you want to save money.......

Don't forget to pick up a few Flux Capacitors.
