Hi,

I am new to this - has anyone had problems with headbearings not lasting very long on their T120 Bonneville - mine only lasted 8,000 miles first set and second set 6,000 miles!! Never had to replace head bearings on a motorbike before I have been riding for 40 years and put on some bikes almost 50,000 miles!!

If caged ball bearing, as used in the T120, are not adjusted correctly they can go away in a hurry.

have heard from dealer that they replace headbearings on all bonneville range and other bikes with same head bearing frequently - yes they are a caged ball bearing - the first set at 8000 miles was factory fitted and second by dealer - i wonder if they should be using tapered roller bearings
