I am considering this optional extra but at £150 GBP is it worth it?
Pidcocks of Long Eaton are putting them on their new 07 ST demo bike, so you could arrange a test ride there and check them out before coughing up the cash.

the kit I quoted the £150GBP on
A9638022 ABS model (£149.99GBP)
A9638023 non-ABS model (£149.99GBP)
is supposed to include an extended clutch cable and front brake hose in the price.
which is a good idea as I find the standard clutch cable routing on my 06 tight enough as it is, where it goes around the headstock.
though I understand (though someone may correct me) if you want the headed grip kit they require longer cabling, so they have brought out a different heated grip kit to go with the new higher bars

You are being lied to Sean. The kit is £150 and includes both left and right bars, plus all the extended cables and hoses required.

Considering these myself had Genmar risers on my trophy before the sprint was not keen on the fit and look .
I am interested to know if they affect the handling very much ie turning in and such feels pretty good as standard could do with taking a bit more weight off my dodgy right wrist (yet another motorcycling injury from my youth).

Drewsprint6,
I fitted the Genmars over 12 months ago and are fantastic. I have had both my wrists broken and cannot straighten my right arm. With the Genmars fitted I have no problems with either my wrists or my right arm. Before I fitted them I had a fair amount of pain in my back and wrists. I lenghthened the clutch cable by 32mm. All in all I very pleased with the Genmars and they took about 1/2 hour to fit. Hope this helps, safe riding.

My local dealer tells me the kit will be available from triumph from the 1st of march, and pre-orders are being taken.

Edit: I`ve decided to go for the higher bars and have ordered them along with heated grips. so I should have them after I come back from daytona
I`m trying to negotiate a discount on the labour charges and additional materials atm
