harleys everywhere

been seeing a lot of harleys on the road lately. Read somewhere their sales have skyrocketed and its mostly cashed up middleaged men buying. Not bad bikes but I don't understand why they remove or modify their exhausts to make them sound the way they do. Nice bikes to look at but not to listen to.

Its the quality of sound and not the quantity :-D that matters....

the sound a triple engine makes on the way to the redline.....spine tingling and hair raising.

or a modified ZX9R

I like bikes, all kinds of bikes including HD. Funny, go to a HD site and ya wont see em bashing Triumphs. Most of the guys i ride with run HD and i get nuthin but props from them.

Like devi, my bike will be on the dyno this spring. The local Big Dog shop is doin the dyno work, The local HD shop offered but i know the guy at Big Dog.

Within the next year, there will be a big fat hog sittin next to speedy in the garage, I wont be bashin Triumph when ridin it, and i wont be bashin it while ridin speedy. I plan on puttin pipes on her too, just like speedy. I like bikes. :-D

The bike i had before speedy was an 85 wideglide, nice bike. I bought it right after Triumph went out of business. The same year i got one share of HD stock for Christmas, mostly just to have the certificate. Never touched it, split after split, now it's worth around four grand. Somebody besides me likes em.
