Has anyone fitted halogen lights to his speedfour? because the factory lights lighting like an oil lamp.
do you have any suggestions?:rolleyes:

i had a light put in during my 12k tune and will never go back. stunning difference in visibility in both directions. do it - you won't regret it...not sure on y0urs but my tt600 lamp had a bit of a tricky install, tight spaces...

i think its a sylvania supersun. btw- don't let them charge you too much, my guysinstalled for just over $100...saved me the time of messing around and the bike was in the shop already...

HID conversion kits

There was a good thread about this on the Kawasaki site under GTR1400. Here are a couple of sites mentioned for these kits:

However, some like their results from changing bulbs, the Philips X-treme Power or the Osram Night Breakers seem to be the best (these are same wattage as OEM bulbs - there are also bulbs that exceed the stock wattage, but are not legal in the U.S. for street use).

Hmmm. Speed Four original bulbs are halogens. As I thought they weren't worth ****, I replaced the original bulbs with (illegal) 100W bulbs. Didn't do a whole lot. They mostly just make bugs stick harder and melt the tape I cover the glass on track days... So, they don't get my recommendation
