Just had the Hyperpro lowering kit fitted and now joy of joys I can reach the floor, no need to carry steps with me now so should go a bit quicker! (LOL) The lower CofG has also had the advantage of improving the handling and quickening the steering which is great since the Pirelli Diablo's I replaced the BT010's with slowed things down - but IMO were more predictable. Now I seem to have the best of both worlds - I think the lower stance also makes the bike look more aggressive IMHO. I'm happy and would recommend to all vertically challenged S4 pilots. :-D

Some pics:

The height difference isn't really noticeable from the photo unfortunately. Also I have played with the suspension settings and gone for the PB ones posted - the improvement in handling is immense, it is so much more planted than before, sharper in every way - it really does feel like a new bike. :-D

I think that you can tell that it has been lowered in the back. IMO, it almost that Hayabusa look as far as the way the tail section sits over the wheel. I like it alot. Do you have any pics from the front?

It has the look of a panther with its ears back. Who ever would have thought that an inch out of the suspension could make it look so mean.

well, this is the first I have ever heard that a lowering kit has
" improving the handling and quickening the steering "

I fitted my 675 with a lowering kit and people just about had a fit that'd it'd screw up the handling...so far I find no ill effects what so ever...glad to hear some good things about a lowering link!!!

We just bought a new Speed Four and the seat has been shaved, so that makes itjust about flat foot, so much better then on your toes!!

you know what, I may just go take a good look at the
" dogbone " on ours and compare it to your pic, maybe there is one on our Speed Four???

SD - there is the possibility that it was all in my mind - a lot of things are these days (lol) - but I felt as if the bike was more planted than before.
