Hi all,

This is ashwin from India. I just picked up a 2017 T 100. To give you a bit of history, i was riding a Duke 390 and found it too harsh/powerful. I wanted something very peaceful and linear. Tried a few bike. I come from the land of the royal enfields - live about 40 km from their factory. Though they are priced cheap, i found them to be of very low manufacturing quality and there were too many know issues in each of their motorcycles.

I was walking by a triumph showroom recently and on a whim, went in and test rode the t100. I had a huge grin on my face at the end of it. I also rode the new street twin but the T100 was miles ahead in terms of the ride quality and the plushness it offered. The T100 was priced beyond what i could afford. As luck would have it, a dealer on the opposite side of the country had a 2017 T100 (the gorgeous aegan blue) that he hadn't sold for the last couple years. He offered me a fabulous deal on it, as don corleone would put - an offer you can't refuse :).

Got the bike along with the sump plate, dresser bar and the rail cum luggage rack - Triumph really needs to get the pricing on the accessories right - seem outrageous to say the least :(. But all that pales in comparison to what the T100 offers. Bike is still in transit. I need it get it to my hometown and register it before i can ride without any hassle.

Can't wait for the miles and smiles

And yes, glad i found this forum :)
