As far as the tires.... I have heard horror stories about them not being good on the cold or wet roads...
I cummute to work in the cold and wet...but I take it easy, knowing that I have those tires...so far I have not had a problem with them...but I can't wait to get a new set...I figure after a few track days this spring, I'll be ready for a set...
I am thinking of either the Pirelli Diablo III, they are getting excellent reviews for all types of riding.....
But Michelin has served me well in the past on other bikes, so may go with the Michelin Powers.
As far as the seat, I shaved my stock seat for better " touch down " since I am only 5'4"..... so can't help you there
And I still have the stock can.
You might want to visit the 675 site, theres lots of info over there....
