After finally getting some time to properly look over my damaged 2003 Sprint RS it transpires most of the fairing panels are beyond repair .

The front cockpit seems extremely rare and expensive so it looks like naked is the only option now. Does anyone know of any pictures of reasonably decent looking naked Sprints?

Or any other ideas to make it look half decent minus fairing would be appreciated.

Airtech streamlining in southern CA makes fiberglass body panels. They run about 250 per though. I've got one of their panels on my 01 st as I couldn't find a replacement either. Have you checked them out?

Thanks for pointing these out but with shipping to the UK and having them painted they'd probably cost more than the bike is worth .

It's hard to get a good looking bike out of a Sprint without the bodywork.
The motor wasn't designed to be stylish and there's an awful lot of plumbing and electrics to hide.
A few years ago there was a pictorial in this forum of one guy whose bike turned out nice, it must be 20-30 pages back from here.

I think it is unlikely, the safety guys tend to make you wear full leather suits when competing in drag races 😊

If you are interested, guys have had good luck fitting the Krator Motorcycle Windshield Fairing Kits to all kinds of bikes. These are well made but inexpensive. They are designed to allow you more ways to mount them so they fit more bikes. You can find them at walmart or on amazon. Here is an example.

If you use Farm Equipment / Implement spray paint it will last but the color choices are limited.

Unfortunately motoforza make it only for daytona. not for sprint. And perfect-fairings make it only for the sprint 1050.

Hiw bout mine.. simple job, a CRK subframe seat and tail unit, 7” headlight with a few other little mods and Jag British racing Green “HGZ” for pain, Rustolium Rose Gold for the wheels.
