Excuse me for going against the grain, but i'd like to experiment with TALLER gearing. I appreciate that it is common to put an 18t sprocket up front, but for sake of experimentation, i thought i'd go the other way.
Unfortunately, JT SPROCKETS tells me that the stock gearing is as tall as it is available...
Does anyone know of a 20t front that will fit?, or a smaller rear?

If you're doing a lot of commuting, stop/start riding, your fuel consumption will go up and you will be revving the **** out of it to get off the mark.

If most of your riding is droning along in high gears, with very little around town, your fuel economy will go up.

I'm with Beach, sooner or later you will have to take it through town and your not going to have a fun time of it. If you're just going out with it to see just what up sizing the ratio will do to top end speed and that's all then no harm done, but if it is the to be your daily rider with this setup I think you'll be switching back pretty quickly.
