Well I've done a massive search but can't find the post I'm after. I just bought the monza cap but have noticed a gap between the cap and the tank. I'm pretty sure someone else raised this recently but can't find their post (despite an hour or so of searching). What have others done about this gap. Just left it or used some kind of rubber shim to set the cap into.

Thanks in advance.

I saw that post too.The person just put a nice fat O-ring there. It filled the gap nicely in the photo that was posted.I just installed a Monza cap on my Scrambler and will probably do that too sometime.

I just left the gap when I installed my Monza cap. It shows more of the pretty white paint on my B/W T-100.

Use a big O ring.

Just make sure it's an Imperial one.
