Hello Triumph faithful. I hope someone can help me. My fuel tank is not venting. As I ride, my bike becomes fuel starved. If I open the fuel cap (lots of fun at 60 mph), the bike rejuvinates.

I have read references to the tipover valve, but know not how to find/ remove/bypass this. Is it in the cap?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps your fuel cap vent is plugged? AFAIK, the tipover valve is on the vent hose of CA bikes only.

Cheers,

grab a reasonable length of welding wire, and shove it down the breather hole under the cap.its probably bunged up with loads of crap.

Thanks - I'll give that a try.
