While removing my gas tank I realized my fuel pressure regulator has no vacuum line attached to it and there does not appear to be a vacuum line anywhere that looks like it should be attached to the regulator but was left off at one point or another. Anybody out there no why that is and do you know where the line would run from if it was there?

I'm thinking it probably doesn't have one.
Back in the '80's, BMW used to use a vacuum piloted, variable fuel pressure regulator in conjunction with their L-jetronic EFI.

Modern bikes with their much bigger and smarter ECU's don't need such stuff. Constant fuel pressure and the TPS and other sensors handle the enrichment.

Thanks, a little piece of mind never hurts, especially when riding season in this area is about to start.
