Hi everyone,
I am very please that my new (17 old) t100 arrived today and looks better than I remember it.
That said it does have 2 large scrapes to the frame down to the metal.
Can you please give me some advice.
Is this likely to be a huge rust issue and is there a way to touch this up.

Thanks

Sand the frame with emory cloth 120- 150 grit lightly blending from the bare metal to overlap the remaining paint.
Mask the other parts of the bike that you don't want to get paint on by first using masking tape around the area you want to paint then covering the rest of the bike with paper, cloth, etc,.
Wipe area to paint with paint thinner to remove dust and let dry.
Shake rattle can thoroughly and spray on something else to test distance and motion.
Spray frame very lightly and let dry 'til tacky. Build two or three layers, letting dry to tacky between layers.
Be sure bike, spray can and ambient temp is above 55F before spraying.

I have used satin black paint from a rattle can to touch up the front of the frame, stering head, lower fork tree and lower fork tubes with good results.
Same here - feather it in and it comes out great. I used the Rustolem brand. It blended perfect.
Using the directions from roadworthy it should come out great.
