My Haynes shop manual shows a Bonneville frame that consists of 2 pieces... front part and rear sub-frame. At what point did the frame become one single piece? Was it prior to the OIF frame?
Best to all,
the oil in frame frame(?)is the first one piece (all welded) frame made by triumph for the bonneville(in fact it was a common frame for bsa and triumph as they were financially the same company)in1971
that's true and i know the whole history...one of the last chapter of the "splendor and misery of the british motorcycle industry" and also ,arguably, a small chapter in the history of the technocratic arrogance and blindness.
