Hi Folks,
I'm getting ready to replace the steering bearings on my '02 Sprint RS and while I'm at it I'll replace the fork oil. Can someone tell me the size of the top bolt on the fork tube? I just looked through my Hayne's Manual and couldn't find it.

Thanks!

Not at all sure just what you mean by "top bolt on fork tube". If you look up your exact model on a Triumph Parts List such as Fowlers Triumph Parts you should be able to identify just what you require.

Hey Pushrod ... no, I'm referring to the 'nut' at the top of the tube (the stanchion tube). I want to replace the fork fluid.
I wish the Haynes had a chart with sizes for a variety nuts .... tube nut, steering nut and on. I know it's easy enough to size it when you're standing there with tools and bike within reach, but due to my city dwelling I have to keep tools over in storage and pick 'em up before diving into work on the bike.
