Sinned against the Triumph bible; the word.

- I reused an oil drain plug gasket six times.
- I reused the seals and bearings in my wheels.
- I put on over 4,000 K's on a tire plug.
- I changed my mufflers and did't rejet.
- I used my accident helmet for another year.

AHHHHHHHH ! That feels better.

I didn't rejet either. Even after installing the Cibie headlamp. But just this week I did shim the needles 2 shims. Runs a lot better. Got rid of a mid range hesitation. Just fiund some old washers I had. They measured .022 of an inch. Close enough. .044 total.
At work we never change the drain plug gasket. Unless it gets split.

Normandy, my son, please say two main jets, two pilot jets, tow needle shims and go forth to dust HD's and all is forgiven. Bless you.

I put on a center stand and didn't re-jet.

I re-used an oil drain washer too. And it didn't leak, nor did my motorcycle self-destruct.

I've probably voided my warranty.

Not so, there simply was nothing wrong with the parts.
