Is there room enough behind the bottom of the tach that a small clock could be mounted into the gauge face there?

There's a space in the bottom-center of the tach face that is big enough to drill a hold & mount a small clock. The question is whether there's room behind the gauge face for the body of the clock to sit.

I was thinking the same thing, but with a tach in the speedo...
I don't want a seperate unit as I love the single gauge look.

Troy,

Mate the triumph guages are a sealed assembly. You can't get them apart without wrecking them. I looked at trying to replace a damaged chrome trim ring on a speedo. They're crimped on and I don't think there would be any successful method of removal and replacement.
