Well, it's almost January and I think we've had one snowfall here in MN that's netted all of half an inch, which melted right away anyways. Today it's been downpouring all day and the temp is around 30F. Roads are starting to ice up now. This is gonna suck A$$ driving home. I have a 5 mile drive and it'll probably take me over an hour since everybody is going to be driving so ***** slow. I would much rather have it snowing like crazy right now, at least you can get a little bit of traction in that compared to glare ice everywhere. I don't know if it's global warming or what, but this winter has been warm as hell compared to anything I've ever seen.
On the radar southern MN is getting hit pretty hard with freezing rain and snow. I have to drive the 2 hours back to the parents for christmas on Saturday so that's probably going to be a biatch too. My car weighs all of 2400 lbs so it isn't exactly the best for traction either.

Y'know, we're supposed to get a couple o' daze o' rain here an' I've been really bummin' on accounta the band only has one gig an' I could git a lot o' ridin' in.

Then I think about y'all up north or out in the blizzards, an' it don't seem so bad.

It's been really mild around here to, rode to work on Monday and Tuesday, then rain and cold. I'm more of a fair weather rider, but because of concern for the bike, not for me. Mnrider, I used to live in MPLS and bartended for a few years at Deja Vu, so I know what winter can be like up there.

Deja Vu, haha, nice. I've been there once before with a few girlfriends.

PROMOD1385, where in south minneapolis are you? I only know of one other person with a triumph so it would be nice to find a few others. I'm living in St. Louis Park right now, pretty much right on the 169-394 intersection.
