are these for looks only?
or do they help with wind deflection.

are they safe at high speeds, apparently the manufacturer states not to ride over 130 klm p/h when fitted with a bug screen.

basically im weighing up whether to get one or not :D

+1‘ “with DieselGeek. Totally stable upto 150mph and it does actually make a small difference.

I'm 5'10'' (1.79m) tall and without the screen the windblast hits me much lower. With it, it tends to hit just my upper chest and head.

If you tuck in with your head on the tank you can feel the difference.

I like mine flyscreen

It seems to work fine for me.
Mine came with the bike so not a big deal on purchasing it.
I did a 5.5 hour ride last week and it did not feel too bad with the wind hitting me.

i'm 6ft tall and the wind with/without really isn't much different for me. if i lay across the tank and tuck-in tight, then there's quite a big change. my '06 didn't have the flyscreen, and high speed runs would shake my eyeballs around. just ran up to the rev limiter a few weeks ago on my '07 with flyscreen...no prob keepin my head steady and seeing where i was goin.
