I mentioned this in another post but thought I would start this and add some pictures later. I installed some Flanders Clubman Narrow bars yesterday. I wanted to use my stock endcaps so I did a little trick that a member had done. I went to Home Depot and bought a wood dowel just slightly smaller than the inside of the bars. This is where I come up with my own thing. I cut a 5-6 inch piece for each end, drilled out a hole using a bit as big as I could without compromising the dowel wall. I melted lead in a spoon over an stove and poured it in the hole I drilled. The hole was about 3" deep. I did this to both sides and then using epoxy I glued them in the bars, lead end first, leaving about 1/8th inch from the end. When it dried I drilled a hole in the exposed side to accept the stock end screw. Mounted it all up and went for a long ride. On every long ride my smaller fingers on my right hand always went to sleep and would go numb. I had never noticed vibration and had always thought it was from pulling back on the throttle because it did the same with the other bike I had owned. This never happened on this ride! My fingers never went numb or even tingled! I'm sure it was the weights and not the new bars but I love the new bars! Flanders bars are well made, great chrome job, and their name ,model number, and serial number is etched in the bars. I'll get some pics up when I get my "S" mirrors on. I love the look!
Here's the specs on the Flanders bars-
Rise-2.5
Pullback-7
Center-5.75
Width-28.75

Specs on Stock Bars-
Rise- 4
Pullback- 8
Center- 5
Width-28.5
