Folks,
I am planning a total rebuild of the MkII Carbs on my '79 T140e. A look in the good book show two different jettings: US (my current set) and European/Racing.
What are the advantages of either of these? Which to choose?

Thanks!

I'm no expert but it will depend a lot on your fuel.

the settings are based (I'd assume) on the fuel available in 79. Over here, we were leaded. Were you unleaded in 79?

I'd drop an email to Amal and ask them.

Go with the Euro Jetting bike will start easier and run better. US Jetting was caused by EPA Regulations.

Suggested set up is

--Part ------ Part number
#15 Pilot Jet - 124/026

#35 Choke Jet - 124/026

.106 Nedle Jet - 2928/122

#3 1/2 Slide - 2928/060

2A1 Needle - 2622/124
