Hey everybody,

I was hoping somebody might have experienced this before and may have a fix. On a hot day, if I park my 2014 Tiger 800 in the sun, or even just after riding at lower speeds, it seems like the ignition gets too hot and won't detect the key so the engine immobilizer won't disengage, I'm fairly certain it's due to the temp because if I park in the sun but leave a brightly colored towel on top of the ignition, it'll be okay and start. As long as I leave the key in the on position the immobilizer will stay deactivated, and doesn't kill the bike while riding or anything.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
