Well finally got around to installing the engine case Hex bolts, and they look pretty good. Posted 3 pictures which can be found on page 3 of my album link below. Not the greatest pics but will post more when I get the bike outside after dewinterizing it next month...

That picture shows socket head bolts though. :???:
My bikes tucked away right now, so I can't check, but aren't the stock bolts hex?

I see, you seem to be calling the hardware by the name of the tool you use. Indeed for a socket head bolt you use a Hex Key or driver, and for a hex head bolt you use a socket but if you were to try and order the hardware that way you would have a heck of a time.

and memory serves me, the stock hardware is actually a FLANGED Hex bolt:


Just in case anyone wants to order the same hardware, It goes a lot smoother with the right terminology.
