I have a 2008 Bonneville Black AI removed, otherwise stock.
This morning I installed a pair of Emgo shorty Dunstall replicas. I didn't repack them; I just installed them straight out of the box.
The kit came with 128 main jets, 42 pilot jets and shims.

I've looked at other threads and I'm getting mixed messages in terms of jetting.

Is the kit right? Do I need one of those D-tool thingies? Can someone spell it out so that even a newbie like me can understand.

Cheers!

I've got the same pipes on my '06, and haven't felt the need to re-jet. I also have the AI removed, but also have a K&N filter. I did re-pack them, because I wanted to tame the sound just a bit. The bike runs great. I live and ride at about 900' above sea level if that's any help.
