Back in the day an old mate, Edge had a Trident, it got stolen. Edge died in the 80's, they still hold the Edge Run every May in Christchurch New Zealand.
I have recently been offered a '74 T150V as a project bike, I'll probably buy and call it Edge's bike.

Today's news is that I have been notified that my Indian FTR 1200 is a write off.
Regardless of whether I keep the wreck this T150V project is now going ahead, subject to due diligence and successful purchase of the Trident. This bike is a 1974 ex USA import with about 5000 miles on the clock, the seller is going to remove the cylinder head before I look at it. The engine will be fully stripped and rebuilt, as will the rolling chassis, I don't plan to do a concours rebuild. I want to make the bike the best possible ride that I can with as much modernisation as I feel is a good fit.
To be continued...

Today I let my option on the wreck lapse so it's almost certain that the Edge bike is going ahead. I have found a suitable engine rebuilder, with only a couple of degrees of separation from the workshop I use and the Speedway Club I support. I might even enhance the engine "just a little bit", the builder has access to a flow bench so we might work the heads a bit...
If all goes well with the Edge bike I'll, probably get him to do a full tear-down on the X-75, but no tweeking for that one just blue print.rebuild.
