Ok fellow members here is the issue. I have a 2009 Triumph Rocket 3 roadster. Six years ago on the way home from work I changed into third gear and that is where it stayed. The gear selector was just flopping about.
we moved and what with one thing and another the bike just sat there and did not get fixed.
it has now been into the local bike shop had the engine taken out and the issue fixed. It was one bolt that holds the gear selector in place apparently a known issue.
it has all been put back together and everything works but it will not start due to no spark.
The bike shop tells me that everything has been checked and it is a faulty ECU this will need replacing at the cost of another £600.
Has anyone else had this issue and if so did the new ECU fix the problem.
Thanks in advance for any help
